Custom Accoya Driveway Gate with Smart Access Options

This custom bi-parting driveway gate combines the look of a traditional wood gate with the strength of an internal steel frame and modern access control.

Fabricated from paint-grade Accoya, the gate features simulated tongue-and-groove detailing cut into Armorite panels, creating the appearance of a classic wood gate with a clean, tailored finish. The gate's internal steel frame provides structural support while remaining concealed within the design.

For this project, Max Controls 1400 gate operators with articulated arms were selected to accommodate the uphill swing of the driveway gate. The system also incorporates vehicle detection loops, safety photo beams, and remote transmitters for convenient access.

An additional feature is the DoorBird 2101KV Ethernet-based keypad, mounted on a tubular steel gooseneck. This provides another access option while complementing the gate's automated operation.

The completed installation brings together custom craftsmanship, practical engineering, and modern access control in a gate designed for the property's specific needs.
